Well known for his unique sound and musical talents, Iron Maiden front man Bruce Dickinson is busy traveling the world with his band Iron Maiden, but music is far from his only passion. When he’s not busy sharing his music with fans around the globe, Dickinson is a commercial pilot, brew master, entrepreneur and creative business thinker. After founding his own aircraft maintenance company Cardiff Aviation in 2012, Dickinson for example helped to relaunch Air Djibouti. Dickinson also is an investor in the “Airlander” aircraft—a pioneering hybrid of a plane, balloon, and hovercraft. He hosted a BBC Radio Show, served as a Marketing Director for Astraeus Airlines, and collaborated with Robinson’s Brewery to formulate “Trooper” beer that sold 10 million pints in just over two years – making it the brewery’s most successful export. Bruce Dickinson is considered a polymath due to excelling in a wide variety of pursuits. He is a creative thinker who enjoys sharing his cross-industry knowledge and experience with audiences worldwide.
