Kevin Graham Ford
Kevin Ford is one of the two Principals at TAG, one of the nation’s premier leadership consultancies. He was the company’s founding President. INC Magazine listed TAG among America’s fastest growing companies from 2012-2014, ranked in the top 100 in their industry. In addition, year over year growth was upwards of 60% for 2015. Kevin’s expertise includes strategic planning, vision development organizational change, leadership development. Kevin received the 2002 National Leadership Award (awarded by a U.S. congressional committee) and he served as the Honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council for Virginia that same year.
Kevin has published five books. His most recent book, The Secret Sauce: Creating a Winning Culture (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2015) was Amazon’s #1 new release in human resources. Prior to that, The Leadership Triangle, co-authored with Ken Tucker became an Amazon best-seller (#2 Business/Teams) in 2014. His other books include Transforming Church (Tyndale House Publishers, 2007; David C Cook Publishing, 2008), The Thing in the Bushes (Pinon Press, 2002) and Jesus for a New Generation (InterVarsity Press, 1995).
Kevin has facilitated the development of over 500 strategic plans throughout North America. He was the senior consultant for the Redesign of the U.S. Army Staff -- the largest employer in the nation. TAG clients include the large federal agencies, Fortune 500s, small businesses, non-profits and churches. He focuses his consulting work in TAG’s private and social sectors.
Kevin has been quoted extensively in the press and has appeared on dozens of business-related television and radio programs. Interviews and quotes have included the Washington Post, Forbes, Los Angeles Times, Entrepreneur, Management Review, Employment Review, Business Week, Financial Services Marketing, Wall Street Journal, Human Resource Executive, and HR Today.
Kevin earned a BA from the University of North Carolina and his Master of Divinity from Regent College at the University of British Columbia. He has spoken publicly to thousands of people around the world and is in constant demand as a facilitator and speaker for various corporations and organizations. He has led CEO Roundtables with Jim Collins and Margaret Wheatley and was a speaker at the 2002 YPO Aspen gathering with Herb Kelleher (Southwest Airlines Chairman), John Huey (Time Magazine Editor), and Jerry Greenwald (former United Airlines CEO). Kevin was one of ten featured speakers at the 2002 Organizational Development Summit with Peter Senge and Phil Harkins. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Washington University of Virginia.
Kevin and his wife, Caroline, live in Charlotte with their daughters, Anabel and Leighton.
